We retain Personal Data only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes for which it was collected and as required by applicable law.

Retention periods may vary depending on the type of information and its purpose.

Account Information

Information associated with an active account is generally retained for the duration of the account relationship.

Following account deletion or closure, certain account-related information may be retained for up to 24 months where reasonably necessary to resolve disputes, investigate misuse, address customer service matters, or establish or defend legal claims.

Customer support communications may be retained for up to 24 months after a request is resolved, unless a longer period is reasonably necessary for legal or security purposes.

Application usage information, logs, and diagnostic data may be retained for up to 24 months where necessary for security, troubleshooting, analytics, or service improvement.

Residual copies of information may temporarily remain in secure backup systems after deletion.

Backup copies are retained according to our backup schedules and are not used for ordinary business processing after the applicable data has been deleted from active systems.

When applicable retention periods expire, Personal Data is deleted, anonymized, or otherwise rendered unusable, unless continued retention is required by law.

12. Account and Personal Data Deletion

Vitamin allows users who create an account to initiate deletion of their account from within the Application.

You can use the Delete Account function available in the Application's account or profile settings.

When you request account deletion:

  1. Your Vitamin account will be scheduled for deletion.
  2. Personal Data associated with your account that is not required to be retained will be deleted or anonymized.
  3. Access to your account may be terminated.
  4. Certain records may remain where retention is required by law or reasonably necessary for fraud prevention, security, transaction records, accounting obligations, dispute resolution, or legal claims.

Deleting the Application from your device does not automatically delete your Vitamin account.

If you have difficulty using the in-app deletion feature, you may contact us at:

support@vitamin-pharm.com

We may need to verify your identity before completing a privacy or deletion request in order to protect your account and Personal Data from unauthorized requests.

Apple specifically requires apps that support account creation to allow users to initiate deletion from within the app, which your described implementation satisfies as long as the function deletes the entire account rather than merely deactivating it.

Privacy laws in another country may differ from those in your jurisdiction.

Where required by applicable law, we take reasonable steps to ensure that international transfers are subject to appropriate safeguards and that Personal Data remains protected in accordance with this Privacy Policy.

However, no method of electronic storage or Internet transmission is completely secure.

Although we work to protect Personal Data, we cannot guarantee absolute security.

17. Children's Privacy

Vitamin is not directed to children under the age of 16, and we do not knowingly collect Personal Data from children under 16.

If you are a parent or legal guardian and believe that a child under 16 has provided Personal Data to Vitamin without appropriate authorization, please contact us.

If we become aware that Personal Data was knowingly collected from a child in violation of applicable law, we will take reasonable steps to delete it.

If Vitamin introduces features that specifically process medical or health information, this Privacy Policy and applicable privacy disclosures will be updated as necessary.

19. Third-Party Links and Services

Vitamin may contain links to websites, payment services, or other third-party services that are not controlled by us.

Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies.

We encourage you to review the privacy policy of any third-party service before providing Personal Data to it.

We are not responsible for the privacy practices of independently operated third-party websites or services.
